Who’s who at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s April 29 royal wedding? Here’s some help identifying members of the House of Windsor, the future in-laws and even the court jester.
The Bride
Prince William’s fiancee, Kate Middleton, was born on Jan. 9, 1982. She attended St. Andrews University in Scotland, where she studied art history. The couple dated and lived together for several years before William proposed in October 2010. After one breakup, she reportedly caught the prince’s eye during a fashion show in 2002 when she modeled a slinky dress that later sold for $125,884 at auction. Middleton, who has no royal lineage, is considered a commoner. After the marriage, she will be given a new title if William is given a title as duke or earl. However, if he is not given a new title, Kate’s official title will be Princess William, not Princess Catherine. (Indigo / Getty Images)
