Culver City girls’ basketball -- playing in another strata at 11-0 -- will meet its first top-tier team of the season, Narbonne, in the quarterfinals of the Gahr tournament at 4:30 today.

The No. 9-ranked Gauchos (10-3) will give the Centaurs a gauge of how good they really are. Even the coach says so. ‘Yeah,’ said Culver City Coach Jack Nakanishi, ‘it will definitely give us an idea.’
