Camera Platforms Finishes Purchase of Panther Corp.

Camera Platforms International Inc. in Valencia completed its previously announced acquisition of Panther Corp. of America, a unit of Germany’s Panther GmbH, for $1.55 million in cash.
Camera Platforms makes, sells and rents motion-picture and television production equipment. Panther Corp. sells and rents dollies and cranes, along with other motion-control equipment for film and television production.
Panther Corp. has been renamed Shotmaker Dollies & Cranes Inc., and will operate as a wholly owned Camera Platforms subsidiary.
