AND ONE MORE THING: Gross-out alert . . . Ren & Stimpy, the postmodern cat and dog cartoon team that has elevated bodily function humor to high art, has an album. “Ren & Stimpy: You Eediot” is the first release from the new deal between Nickelodeon and Epic Records, due in stores Aug. 31 (related story, Page 5). Backed by a band called the Screaming Lederhosen, the duo offers just as much visceral craziness as on TV--and maybe more. Among the selections are a potty-training ode titled “Don’t Whiz on the Electric Fence” and Stimpy’s cosmetic surgery power ballad, “Ren’s Pecs.” You’ll thank us for not printing lyrics to the former, but here are a few lines from the latter, in which Stimpy, the thick cat, moans about being abandoned by Ren, the domineering Chihuahua, after he got pumped up using excess flesh donated by Stimpy:

It sure is lonely around here since Ren got his pectoral implants and moved to Hollywood . . .

No matter where you go, no matter what you do

Remember there’s a little bit of Stimpy’s butt in you.

As Ren & Stimpy say, “Happy happy! Joy joy!”
