The crash occurred just after 1 a.m. Saturday in the intersection of Ventura and Gonzales roads, said Oxnard Police Cmdr. Scott Whitney.
A man driving a 1997 Chevy Tahoe pickup truck collided with a Nissan pickup and a Dodge Stratus. The driver of the Tahoe then abandoned his truck and fled on foot, Whitney said.

The Nissan driver, Angelica Lopez, 32, of Oxnard was treated for neck and back pain at an area hospital and released.
