The man suspected of robbing a convenience store of about $200 Saturday night at gunpoint was later arrested based on evidence left at the scene: his wallet, police said.
“Apparently he took out his wallet and then engaged a store clerk in conversation, robbed the store and forgot about the wallet,” said Fullerton Police Sgt. Neal Baldwin.
Police say Robert Marshall, 22, of Irvine used a chrome semiautomatic handgun to rob an AM-PM minimart in the 1200 block of Chapman Avenue about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. He was later arrested without incident at his residence, Baldwin said.
