Auto-Theft Pursuit Ends in Beauty Salon

An auto-theft suspect who led a brief chase and hid in a beauty shop was arrested Monday, police said.
Denton Johnson, 32, a Marine at Camp Pendleton, was held at Santa Ana Jail, according to the Orange County Auto Theft Task Force.
A stolen 1987 Toyota Camry was chased from Orange, then the driver ran into a nail and hair salon on 17th Street, where the arrest was made.
