Los Angeles Crenshaw 58, Concord De La Salle 53--Terrence Jones made two free throws with 18 seconds left to clinch the victory for No. 14 Crenshaw at Lynwood High. Jones had 15 points for Crenshaw (11-4) and teammate Marcus Williams had 17 points and six assists. De La Salle is 8-3.
Los Angeles Verbum Dei 74, Los Angeles Price 57--Verbum Dei led, 25-10, at the end of the first quarter and Price never drew closer than five points after that in a nonleague game at Lynwood High. Richard Chaney scored 22 points and Michael Pagan had 18 for No. 19 Verbum Dei (11-3).
Oscar Edwards scored 20 points for Price (13-4), the three-time defending Southern Section Division V-A champion.
Riverside King 89, Murrieta Valley 73--Marvin Lea scored 19 points to pace host King (13-3) to victory in the nonleague game. Matt Thomas and Leon Rosborough each scored 17 points for the 15th-ranked Wolves. Brian Ricks had 19 points for Murrieta Valley.
Inglewood 74, Santa Monica 65--Ray Reed scored 22 points for Inglewood (11-2), which outscored the Vikings, 26-14, in the fourth quarter of the Bay League opener.
