Man Runs From Police, Apparently Kills Self

A man whom police tried to question for obstructing traffic while riding a skateboard ran into a house and apparently killed himself, officials said.
The incident began at 9 a.m. Friday at Lincoln Avenue and Crescent Way, when the man rode into oncoming traffic in view of a patrolling officer, police said.
The man ran, and the officer followed but lost him. A woman later called police to say a man was in her house. She escaped unharmed.
Police heard at least one gunshot. When SWAT officers entered hours later, they found the man dead.
