Tobacco Settlement Money Available

A total of $238,567 in tobacco settlement money is now available to local groups and agencies that provide health-care services to Ventura County residents.
A workshop on how to apply for funds will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Public Health Auditorium, 3147 Loma Vista Drive, in Ventura.
The deadline for applications is Feb. 4.
Public and private groups must provide services in the following areas: chronic disease, communicable disease and oral health.
