Future Memories

Re “Trade Center Site’s Future Is a Prism of Plans,” Jan. 13: Instead of building a huge memorial, we need to rebuild the World Trade Center, not to forget what happened but to show that we’re strong. Of course, a memorial would be necessary, but we need to think 100 years from now, not 10. Children will read about how the attack shook America and how we quickly recovered. Then they will visit the memorial shortly before visiting the towers to learn about America’s economy. We cannot let such an important part of America’s history stay grounded.
