Christian Longo, 27, who had been on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list for allegedly killing his wife and three children, was arraigned on murder charges, three days after his capture at a Mexico beach resort.
He showed no emotion during hearings, giving terse answers to a judge’s questions via closed-circuit TV from Lincoln County jail. He did not enter a plea and was held in lieu of $2.5-million bail.
The bodies of Longo’s wife, Mary Jane, 34, and children Zachery, 4, Sadie Ann, 3, and Madison, 2, were found in coastal waters off Oregon last month.
Longo, who had fled to Mexico using stolen credit cards and identification, waived extradition after his arrest in Tulum, a resort town 60 miles south of Cancun.
