3 Teens Injured When Car Slams Into Tree
An unlicensed 16-year-old boy and two 17-year-old female passengers were hospitalized Monday after the boy lost control of a car and hit a tree, police said.
The teens, whose names were not released, are all from Anaheim Hills. Their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, said Cpl. Thomas James of the Brea Police Department, which also patrols Yorba Linda.
James said the boy was speeding south on Hidden Hills Road about 2:30 a.m. when the 1992 Toyota Camry spun out of control.
No charges were filed pending an investigation, James said.
