Records Seized at Gateway Academy

Police raided financially troubled Gateway Academy as the state attorney general launched a fraud investigation into the statewide school that lost its charter last week.
Scores of police, sheriff’s deputies and investigators from the state Justice Department seized more than 100 boxes of records and 60 computers at Gateway’s headquarters, three schools and six other sites in Fresno County.
Gateway runs 11 schools from San Bernardino to Alameda counties.
