Man Guilty of Murder in Heart Attack Case

A jury on Friday convicted Thomas Neal Purdy, 39, of second-degree murder for breaking into a Rancho Cucamonga apartment and fighting with a 66-year-old man, who died of a heart attack during the struggle.
The jury also found Purdy guilty of residential burglary. He faces 16 years to life in prison.
According to testimony, Bernard Moris was in the process of obtaining a restraining order against Purdy when the and fight occurred.
