Angels’ Best Team Not on the Field

I’m very sad to hear that Mario Impemba and Daron Sutton will not be returning to the Angels’ broadcast booth for the 2002 season. They had great chemistry and generated such terrific deadpan humor that they were often far more entertaining than the mediocre baseball they were forced to broadcast.
It would have been nice if Angel management had made more of an effort to retain the best radio team they’ve had in 25 years.
