McDonald’s Detoured From Route to Success

It used to be fun to go to McDonald’s, but now when you go there you are overwhelmed by such a bewildering and constantly changing array of meal combinations that it’s hard to get a simple burger and fries [“McDonald’s Looking for a Break,” Dec. 15].
The customer is made to feel like a cog in a machine or a number in an equation.
In short, McDonald’s has become a food factory. It needs to go back to being a restaurant serving delicious food quickly at low prices in a clean, friendly and fun environment.
