Police Say Slaying May Be Gang-Related

A man found dead Monday beneath a freeway overpass in Pacoima may have been the victim of a gang-related killing, police said.
Witnesses told investigators that two men in a newer-model, gray Chrysler fired shots at a man walking along Laurel Canyon Boulevard near Ritchie Valens Park about 2:45 p.m., said Capt. Kris Pitcher of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division.
Investigators identified the victim as Jesse Sinka, 20.
