Gunman in Halloween Mask Shoots 3 People

An assailant wearing a Halloween mask shot a 2-year-old boy, his mother and her boyfriend Thursday evening as the trio returned home, authorities said. The victims were pulling up to their house on Gephart Street when a man in a mask like the one in the movie “Scream” opened fire on their car, police said.
The child and the boyfriend each suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and the mother suffered minor injuries, police said. All three were expected to survive. The gunman was at large.
