Officer Accused of Theft and False Reporting

An Inglewood police officer has been arrested on suspicion of theft and filing a false report after an undercover investigation, the department announced Monday.
The unidentified officer is a two-year veteran.
In a statement, Police Chief Ronald Banks said: “We intend to pursue this ongoing investigation and to assist the L.A. County D.A.’s office through a completion of the case.”
