Thousand Oaks Bank Is Robbed

Two gunmen with nylon stockings pulled over their heads burst into a Washington Mutual bank branch Wednesday and ordered everyone to the floor before fleeing with an unknown amount of cash in large bills.
The robbery happened about 2:40 p.m. in the 3900 block of East Thousand Oaks Boulevard, said FBI Special Agent Leane Blevins. None of the 15 employees and customers inside the bank was injured.
The robbers -- described as nicely dressed in pressed pants and long-sleeved shirts -- fled in a car driven by a third man, Blevins said.
