A husband and wife walked away from the wreckage of their small plane Monday after making an emergency landing in a field next to Fullerton Airport.
The couple’s names were not immediately available, said Lt. Terry Branum, a spokesman for the Buena Park Police Department.
Branum said the single-engine plane took off from the airport about 11:50 a.m. and retracted its landing gear. It lost power and landed about 200 yards from the runway.
