The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday identified a suspect wanted in connection with a double shooting last week at a Carson elementary school.
Deputies suspect that Don Butler, 22, also known as Li’l Robo, is the gunman who shot a 23-year-old man and a 10-year-old boy on the Ambler Avenue campus at 5:25 p.m. Thursday. The school, which had been open for after-school activities, was locked down for about two hours.
Both victims are expected to recover, said deputies, who did not release their identities.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call sheriff’s detectives in Carson at (310) 830-1123.
