Redlands Wins SCIAC Title

Les Simon rushed for 263 yards and two touchdowns in 22 carries to lead Redlands to a 39-29 victory over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, clinching the SCIAC title.
Redlands (7-2, 5-0) scored 17 third-quarter points to break it open.
Ryan Gocong of Claremont (7-2, 4-1) nearly matched Simon step for step, gaining 252 yards in 33 carries.
Simon had touchdown runs of 80 and 63 yards.
