Webber Steps Up for Kings

Chris Webber scored 28 points -- 20 in the second half -- and the Sacramento Kings won their sixth in a row, beating the Cavaliers, 91-85, Tuesday night at Cleveland.
The Cavaliers have lost 11 consecutive games since beating the Lakers on Nov. 5.
Cleveland scored one field goal in the fourth quarter, a three-point basket by Bimbo Coles.
Denver 85, San Antonio 81 -- Junior Harrington made a 20-foot jump shot with 8.5 seconds left at Denver and preserved the victory with a steal, helping the Nuggets end a six-game losing streak to the Spurs dating to Dec. 14, 2000.
Denver has its first three-game winning streak this season.
Indiana 88, Washington 84 -- Jermaine O’Neal had 26 points and 21 rebounds to lead the Pacers at Washington.
Michael Jordan played 34 minutes and scored a season-high 28 points for the Wizards, who lost their fourth in a row.
Atlanta 119, Seattle 116 -- Glenn Robinson scored a season-high 37 points and Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 31 at Atlanta as the Hawks ended a three-game losing streak.
Seattle’s Gary Payton scored a season-high 32 points.
Portland 77, Houston 71 -- Rasheed Wallace scored 16 points -- all in the second half -- and the Trail Blazers put aside their off-court distractions to win at home.
Trail Blazer forward Ruben Patterson, arrested and jailed Monday evening on a felony domestic assault charge, was not at the arena.
