Medic Alert Accuses Executive of Fraud

The Medic Alert Foundation has sued its chief financial officer, accusing her of using foundation credit cards for vacation, auto repairs and other personal use.
In a lawsuit, the nonprofit notes a $188,000 discrepancy found by the state attorney general on Effie DeBow’s use of foundation funds.
