Twentynine Palms -- Pioneer Days culminate Oct. 17-20 with a carnival, rodeo, dancing and a parade at 10 a.m. Oct. 19. Olympic Valley -- The Lake Tahoe Autumn Food & Wine Festival Oct. 19-20 will dish up cooking demonstrations, wine tasting, seminars and wine auctions.
