Tessa Tran, Beverly Hills: Swept, 6-2, 6-4, 6-0, for the No. 3 Normans in a 12-6 Bay League victory over No. 6 Rolling Hills Estates Peninsula, which played without Erica Schweyer and lost its first league match in the school’s 12-year history.
Claire Rietsch and Lorren Butterwick, Laguna Beach: Rietsch won, 6-0, 6-0, 6-2, and Butterwick won, 6-1, 6-3, 6-3, to lead the No. 9 Breakers to a 12-6 victory over No. 8 Irvine University, which played without No. 1 Aimee Kim, who was on a recruiting trip.

Brittani and Rachel Lumsden, Brea Olinda: Brittani had 35 kills and Rachel had 23 kills, 28 digs and four aces in an 8-15, 15-7, 15-13, 7-15, 15-11 Century League victory over Anaheim Canyon.
Claire Allen, Corona del Mar: Had 27 kills in a 15-6, 15-10, 10-15, 20-18 Pacific Coast League victory over Santa Ana Calvary Chapel. Kelli Whittaker had 21 kills for Calvary Chapel.
Kristina Baum, Whittier California: Had 15 kills, five blocks and five aces in a 15-10, 15-2, 15-12 Del Rio League victory over Santa Fe Springs Santa Fe.
