No eighth book for ‘Potter’ fans

British author J.K. Rowling will not write an eighth episode of the popular “Harry Potter” series, her agent said Monday.

The British media had been speculating that an extra book may have been added to the series because Warner Bros., which is making movies out of the books, had registered more titles.

“The plan is to have only seven books in the series,” said Neil Blair of Christopher Little literary agents.
