Course Offered for First-Time Home Buyers

Ventura County residents interested in buying their first home can attend a free educational program from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The county’s Area Housing Authority and Irwin Mortgage Corp. are co-sponsoring the “School of Home Buying” course, designed to make homeownership affordable for low- to moderate-income families. Classes will be held at the housing authority office, 1400 W. Hillcrest Drive, in Newbury Park.
Enrollment and course materials are free.
