Extra Security Sought in Trial of Prosecutor
- Share via
A Marin County prosecutor asked for extra security at the trial of a San Francisco deputy district attorney charged with a knife attack on a man outside his home here last year.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Kathryn Mitchell also asked Superior Court Judge Terrence Boren to admonish Floyd David Andrews for alleged unprofessional conduct directed toward her.
Andrews was charged with assault with a deadly weapon in the knife attack on Martin Stanley almost a year ago.
He did not deny the stabbing, saying he wounded the Fairfax, Calif., man in self-defense during a confrontation after Stanley urinated on Andrews’ fence.
