MEASURE A is such a scam (“Museum campaign heats up,” by Christopher Reynolds, Oct. 21). When the Los Angeles County Museum of Art announced its expensive and unnecessary redesign, they made it very clear that no public money would be asked for or used. Now they’re trying to take the money from us anyway, by placing this phony-baloney safety issue on the ballot.
Fire and earthquake safety upgrades to protect our children? Why not include puppies and old ladies? Shameless, manipulative and disgusting.
