Voters may choose one of two ways to cast ballots in the Nov. 5 election.
By mail: The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is Tuesday. Applications are located on the back page of the sample ballot. In addition, registered voters may pick up ballots at the county Elections Division office at the county Government Center until 5 p.m. Tuesday. To be counted, absentee ballots must be received at the elections office by 8 p.m. election day or dropped off at any polling location on election day.
In person at voter’s polling place on Nov. 5: Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To find polling places or for other election questions, call the Elections Division at 645-2664 or visit its Web page at www.ventura.org/election/elecidx.htm .
