Daylight Saving Time
I have just finished my semiannual chore of changing clocks and watches. I now wonder whether daylight saving time is really still necessary. It was instituted during World War II as an energy-saving measure for war production. Now, it is simply an old custom that has outlived its usefulness from time zone to time zone.
Isn’t it about time for our lawmakers to remove this outdated notion from the books and keep us at the same time all year round?
