Driver Dies as Vehicle Strikes Gasoline Tanker

A 27-year-old woman was killed early Saturday after her car collided with an empty gasoline tanker, police said.
Tricia Grandchamp was driving west on Heil Avenue about 2:20 a.m. when she crashed into a northbound tanker on Beach Boulevard, police said.
Grandchamp was killed instantly, police said. The truck driver was not injured.
