The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will launch a photo and memorial exhibit today in honor of the late president.
The “Mourning in America” exhibit will include photos of Reagan’s funeral as well as cards and gifts sent to the library near Simi Valley. Reagan, the nation’s 40th president, died at his Los Angeles home June 5 and is buried at his library.
Also on display will be the flag that was draped over the president’s casket, casings from the 21-gun salute and Reagan’s favorite riding boots, which were placed in the stirrups of a riderless horse led to the Capitol in Washington. The exhibit will run through Nov. 11.
