Beating Case Reflects a Topsy-Turvy World
- Share via
I am sick of reading about the “beating” of the suspected car thief in Los Angeles! Try answering questions of a 15-year-old boy, my son, who prefaces the inquiry with a statement, “Mom, is the world upside down?” You see, I am teaching my children to obey laws and respect authority. I made it quite clear to my children that if they are ever stopped by an officer of the law, they should be respectful and comply with courtesy.
Common sense is a really good first approach. If that was my kid running from the law, I would say he deserved everything he got (and more).
