From Times Wire Reports
Testimony in Scott Peterson’s double-murder trial turned Tuesday to the discovery of his dead wife and the couple’s fetus along the shore of San Francisco Bay.
Michael Looby testified that he and his wife were walking their dog in Richmond along the bay on April 13, 2003, when he came upon a baby’s body in a marshy area.
Prosecutors abruptly changed the direction of their case, departing from last week’s questioning of witnesses about Peterson’s affair with massage therapist Amber Frey.
