Terrorists Are Coming: Vote for You-Know-Who
- Share via
I find it more curious by the day that President Bush feels that our world is a safer place now with the capture of Saddam Hussein. Yet Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge stated that there are new and continuing threats by Al Qaeda against the United States this summer (July 9).
I truly hope that when the thousands of people who will be attending the conventions look over their shoulders in fear of a terrorist attack, that they will think of how all the lives lost have made our world a safer place to live.

Once again Ridge rings the bells of fear. Terrorists may attack us! Be afraid, be afraid, be afraid!
Oh, and by the way, vote for Bush, vote for Bush, vote for Bush, and you will be safe. Republicans are correct -- you can’t trust the government.

I can think of only one reason why Ridge would announce the nonevent of “credible” information of the possible terror attack on U.S. interests between now and the November election. With momentum gaining for Democratic candidates Kerry/Edwards and the spotlight on them, the Bushies need to make sure they grab the headlines.
