McDonald’s Revises Executives’ Duties

McDonald’s Corp. CEO Charlie Bell announced new titles and expanded responsibilities for four top managers, his first major executive moves since assuming the top job in April.
McDonald’s promoted Mike Roberts to chief executive of McDonald’s USA from president after sales in the U.S. had risen for 15 consecutive months.
Vice Chairman Jim Skinner’s responsibilities have expanded to include oversight of operations in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, the company said.
Ralph Alvarez, chief operating officer of the U.S. division, was promoted to president of McDonald’s USA.
Matthew Paull, McDonald’s chief financial officer, was promoted to senior executive vice president.
