Superior said second-quarter results included a loss of $2.4 million from its aluminum suspension parts business, compared with $2.7 million a year earlier.
The company said it was confident that it would overcome pricing and operating challenges that have hurt profitability. It also said it was seeing progress from programs to reduce costs and enhance efficiencies.
