A Santa Ana man died Monday after being hospitalized for head injuries he suffered when his bike collided with a car, Huntington Beach police said.
Timothy Arndt, 42, was riding south on Brookhurst Street toward Pacific Coast Highway at 8 p.m. Sunday when he turned left across three lanes of traffic, said Lt. Ed Deuel. Arndt, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown onto the hood of a car.
The driver was not cited, Deuel said. No drugs or alcohol were involved.
