Water Purifying Method to Change Temporarily
- Share via
Residents in the western part of the county who receive water from Western Municipal Water District or Eastern Municipal Water District may notice a slight change in the taste or odor of their water from Monday through Sept. 7 because of a temporary change in the disinfection process, water officials said.
Communities include Woodcrest, Orangecrest, Lake Mathews, El Sobrante, Eagle Valley, Temescal Creek, March Air Reserve Base, Air Force Village West, Moreno Valley, Perris, Menifee, Homeland, Romoland, Quail Valley and Sun City.
Kidney dialysis patients should check with their health-care providers about equipment testing, and aquarium and pond owners should check with their fish-supply store. Residents who have questions can call Western at (951) 789-5077 or Eastern at (951) 928-3777.
