Ventura Bank Robber Sought

Authorities are searching for a man who held up a Ventura bank Wednesday afternoon before fleeing on foot.
The man entered the World Savings Bank in the 2700 block of East Thompson Boulevard shortly after 2 p.m. and told a teller he was robbing it, Ventura police said. A short time later, he fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber is described as a white male in his 30s, 5 feet 9 and about 170 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball cap, green polo shirt and dark pants.
Any witnesses with information are asked to call the Ventura Police Department or the FBI.
