Court Upholds Voters’ OK of Development

An appellate panel has upheld El Segundo voters’ approval of a mixed-use office, retail and hotel development.
The failed appeal filed by Kilroy Realty Corp. and a group called Citizens Against Gridlock in El Segundo involved “Campus El Segundo,” a project that would be adjacent to older office buildings owned by Kilroy. Mayor Kelly McDowell praised the ruling.
“The El Segundo City Council and Planning Commission unanimously approved Campus El Segundo,” McDowell said.
