14 Members of Family Rescued in Boating Accident

Los Angeles County lifeguards rescued 14 members of a family from the waters off Dockweiler State Beach on Sunday after their boat and Jet Skis capsized.
No one was seriously injured in the 5:15 p.m. accident, but 11 family members were taken to area hospitals for further examination.
Los Angeles fire officials said the accident occurred after one member of the San Bernardino family fell overboard. As those on the boat sought to help, their craft drifted into the waves and capsized. When four other family members approached on Jet Skis to help, they too capsized.
