From Times Wire Reports
The Board of Supervisors has earmarked 15 city properties that will be developed to house the homeless or sold to generate funds for affordable housing.
The properties will now be transferred to the Mayor’s Office of Housing, which has agreed to sell the sites or find developers for them.
The parcels range from about 1,000 to 14,000 square feet.
Most of the properties will probably be sold for private-sector development or for use by the adjacent property owners, Joe LaTorre, deputy director of the mayor’s housing office, told the supervisors.
