Judge Suspended for Fixing Traffic Tickets

A Santa Clara County Superior Court judge has been suspended after being found guilty of fixing 29 traffic tickets and giving breaks to professional athletes and acquaintances.
The California Commission on Judicial Performance issued an order Wednesday suspending William Danser from office without pay.
On April 30, Danser was convicted of all nine counts against him, including conspiracy and obstruction of justice. He faces up to three years in prison and is scheduled for sentencing May 24.
