The artistic resource project Focus on the Masters has added another component to its effort in documenting and archiving the work of highly accomplished artists who reside in the Ventura area. The project offers the first Ventura Studio Artists Tour, featuring a look-see inside the working studios of 30 artists. Held over two days, art enthusiasts and collectors can peruse the studios at their own pace. Participating artists include Gerd Koch, Carlisle Cooper, Teal Rowe, dm Spaulding and Carole Milton.

Ventura Studio Artists Tour, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. $20. Gala reception-tour preview, Friday, 6 to 8 p.m., Ventura County Museum of History & Art, 100 E. Main St., Ventura. $25.
