Day Care Owners Plead Not Guilty in Drowning

Two day care owners charged in the drowning death of a 20-month-old girl pleaded not guilty Thursday in Riverside County Superior Court.
Fernando Gonzales, 29, faces one count of child endangerment causing death and three additional child endangerment charges for each of the other three children in their home during the March 29 drowning.
His wife, Debra Gonzales, 30, faces the same charges plus two counts of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
